Structural Soils Expands Geotechnical Testing Capacity

Structural Soils has expanded their geotechnical testing capacity following delivery of their latest order from GDS. Multiple static and dynamic systems were received (see images below), accompanied by some advanced transducers, to further enhance their testing capabilities. Structural Soils has worked with GDS for over 10 years, their laboratory in Bristol is presently equipped with a range of GDS products for soil consolidation or swelling and static or dynamic triaxial testing under saturated conditions. The GDS equipment have been used by Structural Soils in numerous onshore and offshore ground investigations in the UK and abroad, e.g. Bradwell B, Sizewell C, HS2, Lower Thames Crossing, Vineyard Wind Offshore Wind Farm, Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, Moray East Offshore Wind Farm and Femern Belt Fixed Link.
