Unsaturated soil testing allows engineers to investigate the behaviour of soils that are not fully saturated, which is common above the water table. GDS offers a range of systems for controlling and measuring both pore air and pore water pressures (PWP), enabling the study of the Stress Dependent Soil Water Characteristic Curve (SDSWCC). These solutions support unsaturated testing in triaxial, consolidation, and shear apparatus, using the axis translation method for precise control of matric suction.
