Dr Sean Rees, Geotechnical Specialist at GDS was asked to present at the recent seminar on 'Advancements in Soil, Rock and Asphalt / Pavement Mechanics' at Dusit Thani hotel in Dubai.
The event was hosted and organised by Sigma Enterprises. Presenters from IPC Global and Sigma completed the line-up. Guests included research centres, municipalities, contractors and independent laboratories from all over the Middle-East.
After the presentations Dr Sean Rees gave a demonstration on GDS' Triaxial Automated System. The fully automated load-frame based system was set-up so guests could get hands-on with the apparatus and see a demonstration of how the software works.
