19 representatives from 15 countries made Hampshire their home last week for the GDS Instruments agents conference. The three day conference comprised of presentations, focus groups, product demonstrations, customer visits as well as time to socialise with staff and enjoy some english hospitality.
After some welcome drinks and introductions, GDS kicked of their agent’s conference with some corporate presentations. Topics included, company performance, new product developments for 2019 as well as market discussions. After lunch the agents and staff from GDS took part in a series of focus groups on several aspects of the business.

After an evening dinning at a local restaurant, the agents spent the following day at GDS' offices, having product demonstrations on a host of different apparatus. The agents also got the opportunity to see some of our latest product developments and prototypes for 2019..

After another evening networking, the final day of the conference took us to GEOLABS commercial laboratory in Watford. GDS have worked together with GEOLABS for a number of years and more recently have helped them expand their advanced testing capacity (See here). GEOLABS took our agents and staff on a personalised tour of their commercial and advanced testing laboratories, as well a putting on presentation about the "Why Laboratory testing is Essential".

After a busy few days and with lots of information to digest, our agents made their way back home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those agents who attended the conference and to GEOLABS for some first class hospitality.
