GDS' new oedometer automation method unveiled at BGA's Young Geotechnical Engineers' Symposium in Manchester.
June 30th to July 2nd the University of Manchester Hosted the Thirteenth BGA Young Geotechnical Engineers' Symposium, sponsored by GDS Instruments. Over 35 young engineers from research and industry backgrounds talked about their work on a wide range of geotechnical themes. GDS Instruments chose this event for the public release of a new oedometer automation method, which will allow faster and more reliable testing when using computer controlled apparatuses. GDS's engineering geologist Diogo Teles presented at the symposium, explaining the development and testing process which led to this new feature.
