GDS has successfully passed it's ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation renewal.
The ISO accreditation is internationally recognised as the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS). The standards looks at many aspects of the business including the motivation of senior managers and the processes they follow to implement continuous improvement. The process of continual improvement ensures GDS becomes more efficient, reduces errors and maintains a high standard of service throughout their production and delivery process. In essence, it gives customers reassurance on a number of levels, including…
- Better quality products and service.
- More reliable production scheduling and delivery.
- Standards maintained by continuous assessments.
GDS have held an ISO accreditation for many years, as we believe it provides our customers with reassurance that the goods they receive are designed and manufactured to the best of our abilities. Our commitment to quality however, does not end here. We have recently introduced a new full time Quality Manager to focus on the quality aspects relating to procedures, processes and communications. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Diogo Teles on his new role as our Quality Manager. Diogo has been at GDS for over 7 years and has experience on quality assurance, customer installations, product design, product documentation and customer support, making him the ideal candidate for the new position.
