Jerry Sutton, Technical Sales Director of GDS Instruments, has recently returned from Hong Kong, where GDS exhibited at the 14th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering alongside their Chinese agent Earth Products China (EPC). The conference and exhibition was held over four days and included topics such as Geotechnics for transportation and infrastructure, Ground improvement, Slopes and Foundations to name but a few.
The conference and exhibition was well attended with delegates from all around the world. Staff from GDS and the EPC were present to greet guests at the stand. GDS and EPC were showcasing a GDS Enterprise level controller and a set of Bender Elements advanced transducers. Alongside the exhibition, Jerry Sutton made a presentation on Recent Advances in Testing. The presentation included testing methods on advanced Triaxial Testing, Resonant Column, Hollow Cylinder and simple shear apparatus.
