Thurber Invest in Static & Consolidation Apparatus for their Edmonton Laboratory

Dan Zanet, Geotechnical Systems Engineer at GDS Instruments, has recently returned from Canada, where he spent a few days visiting Thurber.

The team at Thurber’s Edmonton laboratory received training from Dan on their recently installed Triaxial Automated System (GDSTAS) and there new 20MPa Constant Rate of Strain System (GDSCRS). These are the first GDS systems to be installed at the Edmonton Laboratory, and we look forward to working with them on future projects.
