Home Test Methods Rock Testing B Check Rock Test Equipment B Check Rock Test Equipment The B-Check is a pre-test to check that the specimen is sufficiently saturated by measuring the Skempton pore water pressure parameter B. The cell pressure is increased to the specified value whilst the back pressure remains on hold volume (i.e. the undrained state). The system compares the change in pore pressure (Δu) caused by the increase in cell pressure (Δσ3). The value of B is calculated as Δu/Δσ3. If your GDS triaxial testing system has a cell pressure controller and a pore pressure transducer, then the B-check is automated within the GDSLAB software. Please note: Some apparatus may require additional components or software modules to perform certain tests. The following rock test equipment can perform the B Check rock test:- Resonant Column Apparatus (Hardin Type) for b check rock test Hydraulic Load Frames for Rock for b check rock test 1000kN (1MN) / 2000kN (2MN) Static Compression Only Loadframe for b check rock test Environmental Triaxial Testing System for b check rock test Environmental Triaxial Automated System for b check rock test GDS Small-Strain Hollow Cylinder Apparatus for b check rock test Resonant Column Apparatus (Stokoe Type) for b check rock test GDS Large Diameter Cyclic Triaxial Testing System for b check rock test Advanced Dynamic Triaxial Testing System for b check rock test GDS Enterprise Level Dynamic Triaxial Testing System for b check rock test Hydraulic Load Frames for Soil for b check rock test Virtual Infinite Stiffness Load Frames for b check rock test Triaxial Automated System (Load Frame type) for b check rock test Triaxial Testing System (Automated Stress Path type) for b check rock test
