GDS' has been designing, manufacturing and selling Resonant Column Apparatus since 2006. Systems have been shipped to research and commercial customers all around the world.
GDS' recent sale marks a landmark 50 sold systems. The Resonant Column range are available in cells up to 25MPa and have a number of options available (see list below)
- Lifting frame for easy cell top removal.
- Vertical bender elements (S and P wave).
- Unsaturated RCA testing pedestals.
- Torsional shear upgrade using non-contacting proximetor transducer.
- High pressure upgrades from 1MPa (standard) to 2MPa, 3MPa or 25MPa.
- Gas hydrate upgrade option.
- Unsaturated testing (Method A).
- Option for environmental temperature chamber (-20oC to +40oC).
- Hardin Oscillator type actuator with axial force actuator.
