Trilab has recently installed another 2 GDS triaxial automated systems, to add to their 4 existing Critical State Locus triaxial machines. 

Its great to see some GDS apparatus feature in KCB recent post on the history of their geotechnical laboratories.

Following local investment in 2018 to establish an advanced tailings laboratory in Johannesburg, Golder partnered with the University of the Witwatersrand to provide students with learning opportunities and promote better collaboration between academia and the industry. 

GEOTEKO have recently increased their testing capacity with the addition of more apparatus. 

Their state-of-the-art facility offers world class geotechnical testing of soil and rock for a variety of applications. Given that the current global pandemic has made visiting their new lab challenging, they have organised a virtual tour, follow the link in their article.

GDS' apparatus assists ATC Williams NATA accredited soil and tailings laboratory to carry out complex monotonic and cyclic triaxial testings required for assessment of liquefaction.

To help UWA Engineering students gain exposure to laboratory tests as part of their studies in the current environment, David Reid and his team have been creating videos of different test procedures.  

GDS recently installed a temperature controlled Triaxial Testing System (ETAS) at the University of Nazarbayev, School Of Engineering and Digital Sciences in Kazakhstan.
